At about some minutes after 10am in the morning Umuzocha residents in Awka came out in their large number to cast their votes.
INEC responded appropriately as they rose to the occasion.
The situation at the Eziogwe Umuzocha ward 2 polling units was impressive as it recorded massive turnout of eligible voters.
In a press statement after casting his vote at ward 2,the former Chairman of Umuzocha village Chief Obiora Obuekwe reported with satisfaction the impressive turnout of voters and the good conduct of the INEC personnel
He confirmed that he exercised his franchise without hitches and urged other residents yet to vote to come out and exercise their rights
