In a strategic move ahead of the November 8, 2025 Anambra governorship election, Hon. Christian Chukwuebuka Nwaobi (Agbalanze Osumenyi)—renowned industrialist and hospitality magnate—paid a courtesy visit to Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo), the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer. The high-level meeting took place in Abuja on April 16, 2025.
Both leaders, natives of Osumenyi in Anambra South, discussed critical pathways toward a prosperous Anambra State, with a focus on education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic growth. Ambassador Nwaobi emphasized the need for visionary leadership built on integrity, transparency, and accountability. He encouraged Ukachukwu to lead with empathy, actively engage citizens, and manage public expectations effectively.

The duo also mapped out campaign strategies, stressing the importance of building a competent and loyal team, demonstrating resilience, and maintaining a clear and people-oriented vision. A key point raised was the historical exclusion of Nnewi South from producing a governor. They called on Ndi Anambra to correct this imbalance by supporting Ukachukwu—described as a capable leader with both sound credentials and grassroots connection.
The meeting underscored a united front and a commitment to driving inclusive development and impactful governance in Anambra State.
