House of Representatives member Amobi Ogah, representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in Abia State, has dismissed his suspension by the Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party (LP) as meaningless, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to Governor Alex Otti’s transformative leadership.
Ogah, in a bold statement on Wednesday, declared that his suspension holds no weight, emphasizing that his mandate comes directly from the people. He reassured his constituents that his focus remains on effective representation and delivering tangible results.
Rejecting what he termed an attempt to intimidate him, Ogah praised Otti’s leadership, describing him as “the best thing that has happened to Abia State in decades.” He urged supporters to remain calm, reinforcing his dedication to the people and their collective progress.
His defiant stance underscores ongoing tensions within the Labour Party, with internal rifts emerging over allegations of anti-party activities. Nonetheless, Ogah remains steadfast, vowing that no form of intimidation will silence the will of the people.
