Anambra State House of Assembly has commended Governor Charles Soludo on the ongoing massive Infrastructural development projects in Fegge Onitsha , Anambra State.
The House resolution was sequel to a motion moved by Mr. Frederick Ezenwa representing Onitsha South 1 and seconded by Mr. Jude Akpua representing Njikoka 11 constituency during plenary.
The Speaker of the House, Mr. Somtochukwu Udeze who presided over the plenary had moved for the resolution of the House while the lawmakers adopted It through voice votes.
Speaking on the motion, Mr Fredrick Ezenwa expressed the need to commend Governor Charles Soludo on the massive and unparalleled road construction work ongoing at Fegge , Onitsha.
Ezenwa said that Urban Boys Secondary School Fegge which has suffered great setback for the past years because of lack of infrastructure is currently being relocated temporarily to Bridge Head Housing Estate, Fegge
Ezenwa posited that a modern General Hospital and Maternity project is about to commence at the designated location in Fegge Onitsha due to the governor’s generosity and kind heart to make Onitsha a better place.
He expressed happiness over the attention given by the governor on these basic necessities of life which have been neglected over the years.
According to him, I am so happy because of the untold hardship Governor Charles Soludo has removed from my people through the provision of good roads, relocation of Urban Boys Secondary School, Fegge Onitsha and provision of maternity for the people of Onitsha which will enhanced the living standard of the citizens of Ndi Anambra .
The lawmakers that spoke in favour of the motion are. Mr. Augustine Ike representing Nnewi North constituency, Mr. Emmanuel Nwafor representing Orumba South, Mr. Ejike Okechukwu representing Anaocha 11, Mr. Patrick Udoba representing Anambra East, Mr. Jude Umehnnajiego representing Onitsha South 11, Mr Ofodeme Ikenna representing Ekwusigo, Mr. Okpalaeke Anayo representing Aguata 1 and Mr. Jude Akpua representing Njikoka 11 constituency.
The legislators described Professor Charles Soludo as a “Herogized Governor”.
“He is that governor that listens to the cries of his people and the only governor that has promised to make Anambra a liveable and prosperous mega city and also great avenues for IGR for the State.
“Kudos to Mr. Governor on his great works and achievement in making the people of Onitsha South and Ndi Anambra State happy”, they stressed(MOI)
