Anambra State Government through the State Ministry of Health has distributed 150 Oxygen Cylinder and it’s accessories to Faith based hospitals, Government owned hospitals and Private hospitals across the State.
State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike said that Gov. Charles Soludo’s administration is committed in improving the healthcare system in the state.
Dr. Obidike noted the in 2023 the State Government supported his ministry to train Faith based, Government and Private hospitals healthcare workers on oxygen use.
The Commissioner said this in Awka while handing over the Oxygen Cylinder to the recipients.
“The importance of oxygen gas cylinders lies in its ability to provide a reliable and portable source of oxygen, which is essential for human life.
“Oxygen gas cylinders are crucial in various settings, including: Healthcare: Oxygen therapy for patients with respiratory issues, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other breathing difficulties.
