The Member Representing Awka South 2 in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Chukwuma Okoye, has distributed empowerment materials worth millions of naira to his constituents to enable them attain self reliance.
Items distributed were Mazda Cars, Tricycles, Dryers, Motorcycles, Sewing machines and Freezers.
Speaking during the presentation of the items to the beneficiaries in Amawbia Community near Awka, the State Capital, Hon Okoye said the gesture was in fulfillment of his campaign promises aimed at creating employments and improving standard of living.
Some of the Dignitaries who took turns in presenting the items including Hon Dozie Nwankwo, House of Representatives Member, Victor Oye, APGA National Chairman commended the Lawmaker for touching the lives of his constituents especially at this moment of economic hardship.
The beneficiaries drawn from the seven communities of Umuawulu, Nibo, Nise, Mbaukwu, Amawbia, Isiagu and Ezinato were full of praises to their benefactor and assured him of his re election under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance for continue representation.
