Ahead of the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the schedule of activities and timetable for the election.
The party will begin the sale of expression of interest, nomination, and delegate forms on Monday, February 10, and continue until February 25. Screening of governorship aspirants who obtain the forms will take place on March 7, with the results published on March 10. Screening appeals will be heard between March 11 and 12.
The primary election is scheduled for April 5, with the election appeal to follow on April 6 and 7. A congress to ratify the results of the gubernatorial primary election will be held on April 6.
The APC has set the price for the expression of interest form at N10 million and the nomination form at N40 million, totaling N50 million. The delegate form is priced at N5,000. Female aspirants and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are required to purchase only the expression of interest form, as the nomination form is free for them. Youths aged 25 to 40 years will receive a 50% discount on the nomination form after purchasing the expression of interest form.
The schedule was released in compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Electoral Act, as released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
