Dr (Mrs) Jessie Udoka Menuba has commiserated with Molokwu’s family on the colossal loss of Igwe Chinyelu Nnaemeke Nworah-Molokwu, describing it as unfortunate.
While paying a condolence visit to Molokwu family, she said that Okpaligwe’s wife, Ugoeze Justina Nworah-Molokwu is her good friend and that Okpaligwe was related to her husband, Group Captain Udoka Menuba.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the condolence visit, she said that death, the inevitable end is indeed a leveler, adding that under its cruel grip, the great and small; young and old; rich and poor; legendary and otherwise are brought into the cold ground.
She said that when she thinks of Okpaligwe, she thinks peace, unity of purpose, principles and values, hard work as well as perseverance, thanking God that Igwe Nworah-Molokwu lived a fulfilled life.
She also said that Okpaligwe touched many lives positively, a great nation builder, a counsellor, a peacemaker and a serious disciplinarian whose wise counsel and rod of correction helped to remold and transform many lives that would have otherwise constituted nuisance to the society.
According to her, Okpaligwe worked tirelessly, lived a selfless life, preferring others to himself, inculcating the spirit of dignity in labour to all who came in contact with him.
“Okpaligwe was an icon of humanity, a good man of Christian piety, a generous man of great philanthropy, a man with patience of Job filled with milk of human kindness.
She prayed that he should journey well, praying God to give everyone the fortitude to bear the great loss even as she prayed for peace and tranquility in Amawbia.
She was represented by Mr. Dennis Adigwe and friends.
