As part of the state government commitment to rid the state of street trading, stalls have been built for traders at the popular Nwagu Junction, Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area.
The spot is a major intersection for commuters going to Nnewi and those heading to Ekwulobia,where locals also stop over to shop for fruits.
The project tagged “Solution Arena” has apartments for fruits, vegetables and sundry items traders.
Governor Soludo had pledged to replicate the model of structures across Anambra Cities to permanently solve the street trading challenge.
Business Operators around the area were quick to point out that the project was timely as work had commenced on the dualization of Nwagu–Agulu–Nnewi road by the state government.
