The Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has conducted an assessment tour of the state owned polytechnic in Mgbakwu to have a personal experience of the Institution.
He expressed his joy in the tranquil environment of the Institution and believes that there are untapped potentials waiting to be unleashed.
The governor charged everyone involved in the administration of the Institution to work hard towards making the institution a true citadel of learning and not a center for tearing off of certificates.
He noted that in achieving this, unwavering dedication and hard work should be involved to create a conducive environment where future champions will graduate and go on to conquer the world.
He further charged the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Njideka Chiekezie not to relent in her duties but to work hard towards making the Institution have a strong reputation that distinguishes it from others.
The governor then entrusted the responsibility of securing the Institution.to the President General of Mgbakwu Community, Mr. Chukwu Basil Nwokeoma.
The Rector, Dr. Chiekezie could not contain her joy as she expressed her gratitude to Governor Soludo for the visit. She promised not to relent in her duties and looks forward to walking hand in hand with the Soludo administration to elevate the status of the institution.
