A group known as “Dunukofia 4 Soludo Pilots” has been inaugurated in Dunukofia Local Government Area to mobilize support for the State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
Speaking during the event held at the LGA’S Secretariat Field, Ukpo, the State Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachi Ibezim, assured that Governor Soludo led administration would keep to its promises.
He said that the state government is on a mission to change the narratives in governance in the state and to transform the fortunes of the citizenry.
While appreciating the convener, Engr Emeka Okonkwo, he promised that more evidences of good governance will be enormous in the state.
The State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Ifeatu Obi Okoye, who lauded the initiative, said that the party has been brought down to the grassroots including kindred level across the state.
While describing the party as a mass movement,he called on party members and stakeholders to work for the success of the party in the forthcoming local government elections.
The Transition Committee Chairman, Dunukofia Local Government Area, Barr CC Ozumba, said there was need to pool resources, energies and votes to ensure continuation of good governance in the state.
He noted that the present administration had provided human capital development and massive infrastructural development across all the sector within the past two years.
Earlier in a remark, the Managing Director of Anambra State Road Transport Management Agency (ARTMA) and Convener of the event, Engr Emeka Okonkwo, said the group was conceived to support the good works of the Governor.
He stated there was need for the people of Dunukofia to act as one united family to support Gov Soludo’s re election .
Contributing, an APGA Stakeholder who represented the National Leader of Soludo Support Group, Chief Ochije Muodilim, rated the incumbent administration high, observing that its approach to governance will set the state on the global map.
