The women of Iruowelle Village Association, Awka-etiti have been enjoined to imbibe the spirit of love in all they do for each member and in the day to day running of the affairs of the Association.
The Transitional Committee Chairman (TCC), Idemili South Local Government Area, Mrs. Amaka Obi made this plea during a courtesy visit by the Association in her office at the LGA Secretariat in Ojoto.
She said, “love brings peace, prosperity and tranquillity which will lead to equity and Justice in the sharing of whatever that is accrued to women.
“When women lack peace while associating with others they cannot unite with one voice to fight for their rights’’.
Mrs. Obi told the women to carry the message down to their various wards and families.
The leader of the group, Mrs. Esther Olikaeze, said that the appointment of the TCC was a great encouragement for the women of the area to come out and support government as it has given them a sense of belonging.
On behalf of the group Mrs. Olikaeze pledged the support of the women for the administration of Prof. Charles Soludo and to carry the TC Chairman along in all their meetings and affairs. (MOI)
