Instagram Deactivates Hushpuppi’s Account

Instagram has deactivated the account of the Nigerian Influencer and high-profile International fraudster Ramon Abbas known as Hushpuppi for violating their rules on fraudulent acts.

This was made known in a statement by their spokesperson Meta.

The statement stated; “We do not want anyone to use our apps to defraud or exploit people and we have clear rules against fraudulent activity – including money laundering.

“We disabled the account of hushpuppi because he violated those rules.”

Hushpuppi was always posting luxurious images and expensive lifestyles on his Instagram account for his 2.8 million followers until he was arrested in Dubai in June 2020

Less than one year later, he pleaded guilty to money laundering at one of the United States of America Courts and was considered the world’s most high-profile fraudster by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

His sentencing hearing is scheduled for 7th November this year by 11.30 am Los Angeles time, 7. 30 pm Nigeria time in the US.
