Mrs Remi Tinubu is undoubtedly a kind hearted First Lady. In September she donated a whopping N500m to Borno State government to ameliorate the impact of the rain-induced flash flood. She subsequently donated N250m and food to the women of the state for same reason. Meanwhile, flood decimated so many communities in the southern states but she looked the other way.
Just before Christmas, she extended her season’s gesture to the 19 northern states with 22,800 bags of rice and N95m. Nothing for the south. Kilo de o!
Madam should be reminded, in case she’s forgotten, that Ashiwaju’s constituency is not confined to the north alone.
What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.
