Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has seized 7, 000 donkey penis parts packed inside 16 bags at the animal export section of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, heading to Hong Kong.
The Customs Controller of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Sambo Dangaladima said that their suspicion was aroused by the foul smell emanating from the bags.
He noted that the consignment could be worth up to 200 million naira ( $478, 000), and the suspect who was linked to the consignment escaped.
“To export donkey parts is illegal in Nigeria.”
They also handed over some fake pharmaceutical products to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), noting that the products have no NAFDAC registration number.
