The newly elected Executive, Anambra State Association of Town Union (ASATU), has paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Officer, Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA).
Speaking during the visit, the President, Mr Ike Okoli, expressed satisfaction with the achievements of Mr Ossy Onuko as ACTDA Boss in his few months of assumption of office.
“The beautification of the three flyovers, several road interventions, and unalloyed support to the youths, showed that you have the zeal and focus on fulfilling the mandate of Gov. Soludo through ACTDA.
“We are here to collaborate with you in order to achieve more in the development of Awka Capital Territory,” he said.
Okoli lauded Mr. Governor for his youth friendliness which led to the appointment of Mr. Onuko as the Managing Director of ACTDA, adding that the move will motivate other young people to strive harder to be in leadership positions in the present government.
Responding, the ACTDA Helmsman, Mr. Onuko, thanked the group for their visit and extended his hand of fellowship to them, saying that the Solution Agenda is purely a youth development agenda.
The presentation of the group’s book and sticker titled “I believe in Anambra” formed the highpoint of the visit. (MOI)
