It was a joyous moment at Awka road as the Transition Committee Chairman of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Mr. Onochie Ozoma, flagged off the “Operation Open all silted Gutters within Onitsha North Local Government Area”.
He said, “as a leader who leads by example I have to make sure that this project comes alive and we must be at the forefront of the exercise to supervise the process so as to ensure that no stone be left unturned”.
He emphasized that the exercise is a continuous exercise until Onitsha North is clean and green in line with the mandate of the Gov. Chukwuma Soludo administration which is to make our state a liveable and prosperous homeland.
The Chairman encouraged the residents to ensure that they continually clean their gutters to avoid them been silted.
