Opposition parties used the New Year to critique President Bola Tinubu’s administration, highlighting various national issues. The PDP accused Tinubu of being disconnected from Nigerians’ struggles, citing his New Year speech’s lack of direction or solutions for key challenges like rising fuel costs, unemployment, and infrastructure. They urged a review of fuel prices and better resource management.
