Labour Party Presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi has encouraged Anthony Joshua and Kamaru Usman to sustain their pride of glory, even though the two pugilists lost their matches over the weekend.
Anthony Joshua was defeated by Oleksandr Usyk in a split decision while Kamaru Usman also lost his fight on Sunday morning to Leon Edwards.
In Mr. Obi’s words, he said, ‘’I congratulate our own Anthony Joshua and Kamaru Usman for putting up such a brave fight against Oleksandr Usyk and Leon Edwards.
“Your spirit of courage, resilience and strength manifested in you throughout the match’’.
‘’The aim is not to win every battle, but to go all in and give your very best. You gave your best dear Anthony and Kamaru, we celebrate you always.
“I wish you more resounding successes in your future engagements.’’ He said.
