President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective from August 14, 2024.
This information was confirmed in a statement signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity) in Abuja.
The President expressed gratitude to the outgoing Head of Service and urged Mrs. Walson-Jack to carry out her duties with innovative flair, integrity, and strict adherence to the existing rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Mrs. Walson-Jack, who has served in various Ministries since her appointment as a Permanent Secretary in 2017, will take over from the incumbent Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, who retires on August 13, this year.
