in times like these, when uncertainty casts its shadow over the land, it becomes imperative that we rise above fear and confusion, seeking wisdom *(Ako Na Uche)* to guide our steps towards solutions and collective action.
“Security of lives and property is the cornerstone of our society, and Mr. Governor, *Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR,* is unwavering in his commitment to safeguarding our people and reinforcing sustainable security across Anambra State.
“Ours is not to join issues with the fury of malevolent vituperations whether they stem from the pulpit, the marketplace, or the streets. Words alone cannot heal wounds or restore peace. What we need now is action—decisive, well-informed, and tactful action that draws from our shared values of wisdom and commonsense (Ako Na Uche)”.
It projected and called for the support of the people to the administration of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo who it said has been applying a holistic method to curb the menace of insecurity and calling the effort of the government, ‘A Vision Rooted in Solutions.’
“Governor Soludo’s administration recognizes that lasting security is not achieved through force alone, but through a holistic approach that addresses the root causes of insecurity.
“From tackling unemployment and empowering our youths to strengthening community-based policing and enhancing intelligence networks, every effort is being made to ensure that peace becomes the enduring reality of our beloved state.
‘Through partnerships with traditional rulers, community leaders, and security agencies, Mr. Governor is creating a web of collaboration that leaves no room for criminal elements to thrive. Current strategic investments in technology-driven solutions, such as surveillance systems and rapid response units, are geared towards making Anambra safer for families, businesses, and visitors alike.
The release outlined the roles of the people thus stating, “The Role of Ndi Anambra, let it be known that the government cannot do it alone.
“True security is a collective endeavour. It requires the vigilance of every citizen, the wisdom to discern truth from misinformation, and the courage to stand against divisive forces. As a people known for our industry and resilience, we must channel our energy into rebuilding trust within our communities and fostering the unity that strengthens us against external threats.
“This is a call to every Anambra son and daughter, from our vibrant youths to our revered elders. Let us embrace Ako Na Uche—a spirit of wisdom, knowledge, and tact—in our words, our actions, and our interactions.
“Let us report suspicious activities, support local initiatives, and, above all, reject the narratives that seek to sow discord among us.
It also describe the Gov. Soludo’s vision for the state a that of ‘A Future Secured’.
“Governor Soludo’s vision is one of a prosperous, secure, and crime free Anambra State where every citizen can pursue their dreams without fear. The journey may be challenging, but with collective determination and the guiding light of Ako Na Uche, we will overcome every obstacle.
“Let us recommit ourselves to this cause. Let us prove, once again, that Ndi Anambra are a people of wisdom, strength, and unity. Together, we will build a state where lives and property are secure, where opportunities abound, and where peace reigns supreme.
“Anambra State belongs to us all. The future is ours to secure, collectively.
Join hands with Governor Soludo as we rise to confront the challenges with Ako Na Uche.
