Security agencies in Anambra State have intensified preparations for President Bola Tinubu’s visit on May 8, 2025, where he is expected to inaugurate several projects under Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
During a five-hour closed-door meeting, heads of security agencies—including the Nigeria Police Force, DSS, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, NSCDC, FRSC, and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi (Rtd)—reviewed security intelligence, assessed threat levels, and developed response strategies to ensure a safe and seamless visit.
Key areas of focus included joint operational deployment, coordinated patrols, and surveillance strategies across strategic locations in the state. The Anambra State Police Command, through spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga, reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and stability while ensuring the safety of the President, dignitaries, and citizens.
The comprehensive security approach underscores Anambra’s dedication to effective governance and public safety, as the state prepares to host the historic presidential visit.
