Seplat Energy Plc, in partnership with NNPC, has launched the “Eye Can See” initiative in Owerri, Imo State, to combat preventable blindness and promote better eye health. The program, which has been active since 2012, emphasizes early detection of eye diseases, free eye surgeries, and the distribution of prescription glasses, while also screening for health conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
The Managing Director of Seplat East Onshore Ltd, Engr. Ibi Adaitotio, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to uplifting communities through health education, professional healthcare training, and investments aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
