Governor Chukwuma Soludo has declared that his administration has successfully executed and completed over 500 infrastructure projects across Anambra State, including roads, flyovers, and bridges. The announcement came as he welcomed President Bola Tinubu to the state on Thursday, May 8, marking what he described as a “historic and consequential” visit.
Soludo emphasized that Tinubu’s presence in Anambra signals a new era of collaboration between the federal and state governments, driven by a progressive ideology aimed at fostering development and economic growth. He noted that the last presidential visit to the state was in 2012, primarily for the commissioning of private enterprises, but Tinubu’s visit represents a broader commitment to public infrastructure and governance.
Highlighting the scale of completed projects, Soludo stated that over 500 kilometers of roads, flyovers, and bridges are ready for commissioning, underscoring his administration’s dedication to transforming Anambra’s infrastructure landscape. He described the projects as symbolic of the audacity of his vision for a new Anambra, assuring residents that even greater developments are on the horizon.
The governor also commended President Tinubu’s economic reforms, acknowledging their positive impact on the Southeast region. He expressed optimism that the federal government’s continued support would further accelerate growth and development in Anambra.
With Tinubu’s visit reinforcing federal-state cooperation, Soludo’s ambitious infrastructure drive sets the stage for a new chapter of progress and modernization in Anambra State.
