The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has flagged off the construction of 7.8Km Achina-Onneh-Agbudu-Ogboji road in Aguata Local Government Area.
Speaking at Achina, Prof. Soludo charged the contractor on speedy completion of the project.
He reminded the people that it is the government of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) that is constructing the road, urging the people of the area to reciprocate the gesture by voting for APGA candidates in the forth coming elections, explaining that APGA is the identity of Ndigbo.
The road with a completion period of 12 months is being handled by IDC Construction Company designed to last for 20 years and will connect both Aguata, Orumba North and Orumba South LGAs.
In their separate remarks, the Transition Committee Chairman (TCC) Orumba South LGA, Prince SN Uchendu and his Aguata LGA counterpart, Prince Chibuike Oforbuike commended the efforts of Gov. Soludo, saying it is in line with the campaign promise of the governor to open up agrarian communities.
They assured of their maximum support to the administration of Gov. Soludo and promised to mobilize their people to vote massively for APGA candidates. (MOI)
