Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has dismissed speculation that he might leave the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) following President Bola Tinubu’s visit to the state.
Speaking at a thanksgiving ceremony for APGA National Chairman, Sylvester Ezeokenwa, Soludo emphasized that Anambra remains APGA all the way. He reaffirmed his commitment to the party, stating that after his tenure, another APGA governor would succeed him, continuing the progressive governance that has defined Anambra since APGA’s founding in 2002.
Soludo highlighted the development strides achieved under APGA leadership, from Peter Obi to Willie Obiano, and now under his administration. He insisted that APGA is Anambra, and Anambra is APGA, reinforcing his dedication to the party’s vision.
Ezeokenwa, reflecting on his legal battle to retain his position as APGA National Chairman, expressed gratitude to Soludo for his unwavering support throughout the process.
With Soludo’s firm stance, APGA remains positioned as Anambra’s dominant political force, committed to progressive governance and continuity.
