The book entitled Riding The Storms With God In My Sails was written by Rear Admiral Alison Madueke and published in 2019 by Eminent Biographies Limited, Awka.
Excerpts from the autobiography have for days now been trending in social media, with the curious name of Ekpen Media given as the publisher.
The book was NOT published by Ekpen Media. Ekpen Media, whoever or whatever it represents, made less than zero input in the publication of Admiral Madueke’s autobiography.
I should know because I, Chuks Iloegbunam, am the Chairman of Eminent Biographies.
It goes without saying that Nigeria is a country of all sorts. Yet, I find this literary heist by Ekpen Media brazen, intolerable, and provocative. It will be appreciated if whoever knows will let us into the identity of the character(s) behind Ekpen Media.
Eminent Biographies has already briefed its lawyers on this blatant development.
