From Ifeoma Ejiofor, Nnewi The Spiritual Head of Soul Revival Outreach in Nnewi, Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu, has condemned the recent attack on Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as a misdirected effort. Prophet Uzukwu, speaking with journalists in Nnewi yesterday, expressed his disappointment, stating that Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, seemed to have wasted his energy on a conflict with his own people rather than directing his strength towards more productive causes.
“Your fight with your brother, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, is a misdirection of energy, and it does not sit well with your people,” Prophet Uzukwu said. “Both of you are the pride of your community. A warrior should not fight against his own; instead, he should channel his strength outward to build a good reputation for himself.”
The prophet further warned Wike that political positions are temporary, and power shifts will eventually occur. “The position of Minister will not last forever. One day, power will change hands. The next person in charge may not like you and could use someone you have previously had conflict with to undermine you. This is the nature of politics and life in general. You can’t predict what tomorrow holds.”
Prophet Uzukwu also pointed out that, despite their differences, Ukachukwu possesses a powerful political structure in Anambra State, which could be valuable to Wike in the future. “Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu has the best political structure in Anambra State under the Ikukuoma Solidarity. This could be very useful to you in the future. You shouldn’t be antagonistic toward Ukachukwu; instead, see him as your brother and let brotherly love prevail,” he advised.
The prophet went on to discuss the broader political landscape, particularly in relation to the Igbo people. He urged Ndigbo to unite and work together, noting that, given the current situation—both physically and spiritually—it would be extremely difficult for an Igbo man to ascend to the presidency of Nigeria.
Reflecting on a prophecy he made in 2016, Prophet Uzukwu reminded his audience that he had warned at the time that it would be challenging for an Igbo man to become the president. “Many people called for my head when I released that prophecy, but when Mr. Peter Obi’s presidential ambition faltered, despite being widely regarded as the most qualified candidate, it became clear,” he remarked.
He reiterated his stance, stating, “An Igbo man will not be allowed to preside over the affairs of this country. After the 2023 Presidential election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared the winner, and the rest is history.”
The prophet also commented on the dynamics between different ethnic groups in Nigeria. “The Igbo are problems to themselves,” he said, contrasting them with the Fulani. He pointed out that during the presidency of Muhammadu Buhari, the Fulani people held significant power, even becoming untouchable, no matter their transgressions. “The Fulani are powerful because they love one another. God gives power to those who are united, to those who love themselves,” Prophet Uzukwu concluded.
